When will will the supporters/customers receive their order?
Orders will be fulfilled within a week and shipped within 2-3 weeks from day of purchase.

Are your products gluten free?
The majority of our brisket line is gluten free. Please have the customer/supporter refer to the nutritional facts to confirm.
What is the difference between the brisket and traditional lineup?
The brisket is made from real slabs of brisket meat (cut from the pectoral region), whereas the traditional jerky is made from the top round. The brisket is soft and tender, whereas the traditional line is your classic “grip-it and rip-it” jerky.

El Jefe is a sister company that we started to cater to the Mexican community. We are proud of our innovation to provide customers with a true hispanic flavored jerky.
Where do you source your meat from?
All of our meat is sourced locally from the United States.
Where do you make the jerky?
In order for our jerky to stay small batch, hand crafted we have had to open multiple production facilities on the West Coast - California, Idaho, and Vegas.

What if the jerky has white spots on it. What is that?
White material can be a variety of things including mold, fat, or grease. Since we use premium beef with such big slices, you will see lots of marbling on our slabs. Also, a little bit of fat is a completely normal occurrence and does happen from time to time. The product is completely safe to eat.
If anyone has any concerns with the product, don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team who is more than happy to help.
What should the customer/supporter do if they find mold in my bag?
Mold is gross, but don’t panic we will get you replacement product. The presence of one slightly undried piece can lead to the spoilage of an entire bag. In no way does this have anything to do with the quality of the meat as we use nothing but the most natural ingredients. Just an unfortunate occurrence from time to time.
Please have them email our customer service team at orders@goldathletics.com with their email, order number, and spoiled product and we'll take care of them right away. If they can have them take photos of the product and attach to the email.
What is the best way to store the jerky?
Our jerky is 100% shelf-stable in a cool, ambient environment. It does not require any special handling or refrigeration.

How long will my jerky last once the bag has been open?
If the jerky has a re-sealable bag the product should be consumed within 3 days of opening the bag. If the bag is not re-sealable the jerky should be consumed that same day.
What is the shelf life of the jerky?
In a cool, ambient environment the jerky is shelf-stable for one year. Please always refer to the expiration date on the bag before consumption.

What is Chamoy?
Chamoy is a sweet, tangy, and spicy Mexican sauce that's amazing on fruit,
vegetables, drinks, and a million other things.
How do you store Chamoy Candy?
You may store in room temperature, but keep all chamoy candy away from excessive heat. Do not refrigerate any gummies. They are best stored at room temperature.

What does Chamoy Candy taste like?
The chamoy flavor is sweet, salty, sour, and tangy. It has been compared to an Asian
sweet and sour sauce but with a deeper tang, contributed by the lime juice. The
sweetness of the fruit softens the intensity of the spice.
